DESCRIPTION :
A metaphorical self-portrait; my stand-in is now a cat. Painted in acrylic on wood
plank, I blend and merge different patterns, textures, and media to question perception and blur
boundaries between external influences and internal drives of having endured pain of internalized
homophobia and then liberation through self acceptance.
