DESCRIPTION :
Release Party: A conceptual leap of faith into the torment of releasing a part of yourself into the world and all it entails: opening up, exposing oneself to praise and disgrace, sharing a moment, conveying an emotion and grappling with the reaction, hide and seek, getting caught in public, getting caught in webs of time and connectivity, insisting on love as the ultimate compass towards uncertainty. Themes of hypersociality, lore of personal relations, internet-culture, fantasy, postmodern insecurity, love in time of apocalypse drive this project. This isn’t a party at all, but a multimedia collage of documentary, memes, performance, political scheming, musicvideo, graphic scores, poetry, power-point, fashion and sculpture.
